Where to begin? I guess at the beginning again, eh? Here's the news: Since my last post I've been extremely involved with a lot of other people's projects. I recorded and mixed Virus Nine's new CD "We're Here To Wreck Everything." I helped in the shooting of their short film video of the title track. I did some recording a mixing of my friend Eric Von Radics' project "Buzzard Song: Redux." I even stepped in and played bass at one of his shows. I recorded Scott Kelly's guest vocal for the song "Crystal Skull" on the mighty Mastodon's new CD "Blood Mountain" (first Major Label credit--yay!). I recorded and mixed Chesterfield's new CD "Death Grip." Also I recorded and mixed the debut CD of punk rock Elvis tribute band G.G. Elvis.

Somewhere during this process, Justin decided he no longer wanted to be a part of Nothing Error and Chris kind of faded away. Dave and I made the decision to wait a while so I could get these projects done and then reform the band with new people. Our long time fan Scott has joined as a second guitarist and we have found a new drummer, Jeff. We're planning to add another guitarist and I'll be switching between keyboard/sampler and guitar duties. And singing as well.

I'm looking forward to getting out and playing shows again. It's been a long time since y'all have allowed me to act like a complete ass on a stage--can't wait!

Where does the time go? We're still working on the CD. Got the drums cut for three more songs: "On And On", "Bad Luck", and "Hollywood". We're hoping to be mixing by May and have a release in June or July. No news on the progress of the "Dallas, TX" video. New shows are posted. We're playing with the legendary MxPx! Should be a great concert. We had the opportunity to play with I Can Lick Any Son Of A Bitch In The House and Supernaut last month. Great guys and fantastic performances. Our local friends Lorena Bobbit & The Hackers also tore up the stage. See you at the shows!

Sorry for the lack of updates. In December we went back into the studio to begin recording the next CD. We worked with Lawrence Gelburd, a great producer from Philadelphia. We got "Lemonade" and "Rise" arranged and recorded while he was here. Jeff Ocheltree helped us with the drum tones. It was a great session. So then the holidays hit and that slowed down production. Then the week after New Year's, we shot a video for "Dallas, TX". We'll be posting that here when it's complete. Thanks to all the folks who helped out and starred in the video. Then as we were gearing up for the next sessions, my father-in -law Roy died. He had been battling cancer for 2 1/2 years. The song "The Day They Gave It All Back To You" was about him. I wrote more about him on my blog. We're heading back into the studio this Saturday to cut drums for "On And On" and maybe one more. The rest of February is filled with shows.

We've been playing some great shows with some very cool bands lately. The Listening Group from the Bay Area is one of them. Definitely check them out. We also just played a show with metal legends Static-X, Ill Nino, and Opiate For The Masses. It was kind of an odd matchup but the crowd seemed to dig us and we had a blast. All the other bands were very cool to us as were their stage crew. We're back in the studio in December to get started on the next CD. We'll be recording half of it in December and the other half in April with a tenative release in Summer of 2006. More updates to come. Until then, here's a picture of the crowd from the stage at Static-X. Dave told them to give us the bird and . . .

Jerret didn't work out (artistic differences) but we have a new drummer--Justin Bullen. We've been playing some shows (just opened for the Presidents of the United States!) and writing some songs. Look for new material soon!

I have added a couple more members to the band to give it a fuller sound live. We've been playing some shows and the response has been fantastic. So let me introduce drummer Jerret Kenworthy and bassist Dave Hitchcock to everyone. We've been writing some new material and we're excited to be working together. Look for upcoming shows in Oregon and a California tour in June. We recently completed recording of "Dallas, TX" for the Spare Change compilation. Look for it in July.

I'm currently recording bands at 60 Psycho Hum for an upcoming compilation CD of Southern Oregon artists. The CD will be released by Mental Records and is scheduled to drop on July 5, 2005. I will also be contributing a new track for the comp.
